  1. This describes the tool bar in each scrap file window from left to right:

  3. (A) Name List Icon:
  4.             If this icon is selected, the name list view of all scrap items will be displayed.
  5.  
  6. (B) Thumbnail List Icon:
  7.             If this icon is selected, the thumbnail list view of all scrap items will be displayed.
  8.  
  9. (C) No List Icon:
  10.             If this icon is selected, no list is displayed (there is no ‚ÄúSort‚Äù available in this view; items will be displayed in their natural order).

  12. (D) Find Tool:
  13.             Search for text in any scrap item (starting from the first item).
  14.  
  15. (E) Find Again Tool:
  16.             Search for next occurrence of the last text searched for.
  17.  
  18. (F) File Settings Tool:
  19.             Each Scrap file can have its own preferences. (see File Settings)

  21. (G) Scrap Files Pop-up:
  22.             Shows a list of all scrap files available in the System or ScrapIt Folder (same as the Scrap Files Hierarchical menu in the ‚ÄúFile‚Äù menu).

  24. (H) Scrap Type Menu:
  25.             This displays the current scrap type, e.g. ‚ÄòPICT‚Äô = a picture, ‚ÄòTEXT‚Äô = any text, ‚Äòsnd‚Äô = a sound, and there can be many more depending on what application you copied data from.  You can view the different file types of any scrap item by choosing from this pop-up menu.

  27. (I) Scrap Item Size:
  28.             This will show the total size of the current scrap item.

  30. (J) Current & Total Items:
  31.             This displays the current item number and the total items in the file, e.g. ‚Äú1 / 5‚Äù means there are 5 items in the open scrap file and you are viewing item #1.

  33. (K) Name List:
  34.             If you are in a list mode (the list icon or thumbnail icon is selected), the list will be on the left side of the window.

  36. Main Scroll Bar:
  37.             The main scroll bar on the bottom can be used to move to different scrap items in the file.

  39. Current Item Area:
  40.             This is were the current item is displayed. If the current item is a PICT and the picture is larger than the current item area, you will be able to scroll to see the entire image (or you can check the ‚ÄúReduce Pictures to Fit‚Äù option from the ‚ÄúItems‚Äù menu).
